Liberty Seminars 2013

Between August 26-31, 2013 the attendees of the two one-week seminars (Liberty Camp and Liberty Academy) have discussed classical liberal ideas, and then applied them to the current topics.

These seminars are unique in that they bring together a widely diverse group of attendees and lecturers, both in terms of their national and cultural backgrounds, as well as their professional and educational paths.

The participants discuss the ideas in the conference room as well as during a more relaxed surrounding like the Slavica waterfall and lake Bohinj.

Among the lecturers in 2013 were world-renowned experts:
  • Philip Booth, PhD (Institute of Economic Affairs, UK),
  • Stephen Davies, PhD (Institute of Economic Affairs, UK),
  • Tanja Kosi Antolič, PhD (Slovenia)
  • Mark Littlewood (Institute of Economic Affairs, UK),
  • Dan Mitchell, PhD (Cato Institute, USA),
  • Tanja Štumberger Porčnik, MA (Svetilnik, Slovenia),
  • Zoltan Kesz (Hungary) and
  • David Greenwald (Slovenia/USA).
The deadline for the applications was July 5, 2013. Only the first 40 qualified applicants were invited to attend each seminar. For more information about the project visit www.liberty-seminars.org
